It belongs to aliphatic amines. It is a low-viscosity transparent liquid at room temperature, with a pungent ammonia odor, strong alkali corrosive, and combustible. After being in contact with air or subjected to high temperature, it is easy to oxidize and the color deepens, and it is easy to absorb moisture and carbon dioxide in the air when placed in an open.
Application scope:
■ As an epoxy resin curing agent, it can cure epoxy resin at room temperature, and can also prepare modified curing agents and polyamide curing agents for the production of adhesives, coatings, castings, composite materials and other polymer materials;
■ Used as a solvent and organic intermediate, used to prepare gas purifiers, lubricant additives, emulsifiers, surfactants, fabric finishing agents, ion exchange resins, metal chelating agents, brighteners, polyamide resins, etc.
